SSID & PASSWORD

1.) Does the SSID and Password store in the ESP8266 in encrypted form. If yes, what is the encrytion format? 2.) unique MAC ID of the chip is encrypted or not?

Hi,

They are not encrypted.

SSID and password is stored in Flash, MAC address is in the chip's efuse.

If someone hack into the device, can they get all the SSID & PASSWORD info directly?
