AT+GSLP wakes up too soon
AT+GSLP wakes up too soon
Postby daveh » Tue Nov 24, 2015 9:21 am
Using AT V0.50 I am sending AT+GSLP=900000 to deep sleep the ESP8266 for 15 minutes. However, I am finding that it wakes up after approximately six and a half minutes. Is there a limit to the sleep time or could this be a bug?

Hi,
I tried "AT+GSLP=900000" in AT V0.50.
The ESP8266 wakes up after 15 mins later.
Could you try it with another module ? What is the version info you got by command "AT+GMR" ?

Apologies for bothering you with this. I was sending the sleep command from an Arduino to the ESP07. When I tried sending commands directly to the ESP07 from a terminal it worked and slept for the expected time. I now have it working with the Arduino and think my problem was caused by a bad connection on my breadboard where I was testing my project. Sorry about that.
