AT firmware V0.51 baud rate change bug?
AT firmware V0.51 baud rate change bug?
Postby hhc » Fri Jan 08, 2016 2:49 pm
Hi,
When we use the AT+UART_CUR=576000,8,1,0,3 to change the baud rate from 115200 to 576000, the '\n' character after OK is sent out using the the altered baud rate. This is different from the behaviour in SDK 1.2.0 where the entire 'OK\r\n' is sent out correctly.
Regards,
hhc

The same problem I've already reported. Returned message from Espressif was "We are sorry because can't reproduce this error." My change was from 115200 to 921600. Exactly the same.

I'm not able to test this file since I have never compiled directly your code.
I'm always using precompiled version.
Will wait for new release.

Hi Espressif,
We have not been able to compile AT firmware in SDK1.5.0 (for 8Mbit flash, 512k+512k). In SDK1.2.0 it is still compilable.
Please provide more detailed instructions on how to compile AT firmware in SDK 1.5.0. With the existing instructions, it can start the compilation process but the compilation ends with error. As like the previous user, we dont compile anymore since it takes time for us to resolve the error.
We have also added workaround in our code to bypass this issue and since there is a newer AT version, we will try out that version later.
Thanks.

Hi,
Please notice that AT firmware is too large to fit in 512KBytes Flash, you need at least 1MBytes Flash to compile and run it.
If it is not the flash size issue, please provide the error information in compilation for debugging.
Thanks for your interest in ESP8266 !
