ESP8266 not connecting to wifi network

I tried to connect with wifi using command AT+CWJAP_CUR. but is giving response as time out i want know how to increase the authentication time

Hi,

Maybe you can try command AT+CWLAP first, to list the APs nearby, get the signal strength of the target AP.

Could it be the signal strength of your target AP that is too weak to be connected to ?
