Output Power-on Glitches
Output Power-on Glitches
Postby chm01938 » Tue Jul 05, 2016 8:42 am
Upon powering on, the GPIO outputs momentarily pulse high. Is there a way to prevent this from happening. Getting a lot of inrush current from the circuitry the GPIO outputs are connected to.....Thanks

Hi, most of the GPIO have internal pull-up resistor. But they should be input status. What you mean by "inrush current"?

Since the gpio16 and gpio14 momentarily pulse-high they turn-on the connecting circuitry instantaneously causing an inrush of current. If at power-on the two bits are configured as default inputs, I do not understand how this can be happening. Any ideas
greatly appreciated.
