SPIFFS with IOT SDK

I've been using the Arduino IDE which allows an upload of files to the SPI flash for subsequent use by SPIFFS:

Is something equivalent available for the IOT SDK (I'm using Eclipse)?

Does anyone have a good example of setting up and using something equivalent to SPIFFS with the IOT SDK?
