Programming ESP8266 through another MCU using UART

I need to be able to program the ESP8266 via a different MCU using UART. However I'm not able to find any documentation on how to do this. Does anyone know how to do this? I know how to set the ESP8266 in UART boot loading mode.

Hi, what mcuare you using?

I ask because I am using a Freescale AW60 and it has two serial ports, so I forward everything and I am programming ESP-WROOM-02 whithout problems.
