How to change name of ESP8266 seen through the router?

I have many ESP8266 works as stations connected to router which sees them as ESP8266F, ESP_1354B8, ESP_8077E4, etc.
Is it possible, to change name of ESP8266 seen through router?

Can you find out which parameter is being considered as the name by your router?
You can use mDNS for assigning a hostname to your device, if that's what you mean to do.
