[UDP] Creat a UDP server on esp8266

I just try to create a UDP server on a esp8266 device, which listens request from other device(not esp8266 devices).
I saw sample codes on http://espressif.com/en/support/explore/sample-codes and i still dont know how to complete my job.
Can someone answer me it is possible or not ??
I need a affirmation to keep trying, because i dont have any orientation.
Sorry for my grammar, i'm not good at english.

ESP8266 can create a UDP transmission. You can use the sample code, or you can just use AT commands.
