Absolute maximum VCC for ESP

Postby FrenkR » Fri Jun 26, 2015 6:35 pm

what is absolute maximum VCC. I have a chip with minimum declared VCC=3.6V. Then there is a regulator with 3.6V +/-5%. Is it allowed to use same power supply or is better to put additional linear regulator for ESP?

Dear Sir,

Analog and PA Power supply(Pin1,3,4,29,30): 3.0V~3.6V
Digital and IO Power supply(Pin11,Pin17):1.8V~3.3V

If you connect digital/IO power supply and Analog/PA power supply together and use a single power supply, the maximum VCC can be 3.6V.

However, we recommend you to adjust the output of this regulator to 3.3V. Then both chips can work fine.

Any more questions, please let us know.

Thanks.

thank you, for my case, I believe that it is better to put LDO to a PCB and raise 3.6V to 4.2V to have both chips in an optimum voltage. Thank you.
