reset exception issues with light-sleep

Dear Espressif,

I've been using version 1.5.4 of the SDK, and when I put the ESP8266 into the light-sleep mode, on occasion I hit a exception and the device resets. Upon inspection of the program counter location, it appears it is in the sleep module. Do you know if this is something you have previously seen and is it something that has been addressed in later versions of the SDK? This doesn't happen when I use modem-sleep.

1.5.4 seems to be a very old version. Maybe you can have a try with the latest SDK https://github.com/espressif/ESP8266_NONOS_SDK.

Ok I upgraded to 2.1.x, but now light sleep doesn't seem to work PERIOD.

I have the same problem as you and I am using SDK NONOS 3.0.0
