ESP8266 Specifications

Hello i want to ask, after i read this page
http://espressif.com/en/products/esp8266/
i read that ESP8266 have feature
Wake up and transmit packets in < 2ms

transmit packets in <2ms very interesting for me because when i try to send a packets to my server (i create server using VB6) i need almost 200ms for send every packets.
How to make this feature work? or are i'm doing something wrong so i can "taste" this feature.
