true maximum throughput[Done]
Postby Franco La Paz » Thu May 19, 2016 9:33 am
Hello,
I write to ask about the maximum speed of transmission and reception reaching the ESP8266 in stream mode.
From already thank you very much and I apologize if this is not the right place for the question.
Regards,

Hi,
The throughput we tested with AT UART-WiFi passthrough mode is as below:
TCP Throughput: AT TCP passthrough Tx 303 Kbps; Rx 302Kbps @ baudrate 420000
UDP Throughput: AT UDP passthrough Tx 250 Kbps; Rx 250 Kbps @ baudrate 420000
Thanks for your interest in ESP8266 !

ESP_Faye, can you please give some details about your test procedure and which AT command firmware you are using in the ESP8266? We are trying to use WROOM-02 module with the AT command firmware but it is able to send 100KB data in about 50 secs only using a TCP connection to a TCP server. May I know how we can achieve that data rate?
